Qualified Applicants:
Victims (including companies and individuals) of typhoons, floods, earthquakes, and other non-resistible natural disasters.
Period:
(1) Loans for recovery working capital: maximum two years, with half-year grace period.
(2) Loans for repair of factories, buildings and houses: maximum three years, with one-year grace period.
(3) Loans for repair of machines and equipments, or replacement of furniture, household appliances, and
transportation vehicles: maximum three years, with one-year grace period.
(4) Loans for replacement of machines and equipments: maximum seven years, with two-year grace period.
(5) Loans for replacement of factories and buildings: maximum ten years, with three-year grace period.
(6) Loans for replacement of houses: maximum thirty years, with three-year grace period.
Maximum Amount:
Maximum NT$50 million for corporations.
Maximum NT$3 million for individuals.
Interest Rate:
As stipulated by the Bank.
Collateral:
The applicant should provide collateral accepted by the Bank, or guaranteed by Trust Guarantee Fund.
Guarantor:
Provide according to the Bank’s stipulation.
Purpose:
Provide recovery working capital loans (including materials purchase loans) and reconstruction loans to
corporations to repair or replace machines, equipments, factories and buildings.
Provide personal reconstruction loans to individuals to repair or replace houses, furniture, household
appliances and transportation vehicles.
Method of Repayment:
Within the grace period, only monthly repayment of interest is required. After the grace period, the borrower should repay the principal by monthly installment, plus monthly repayment of interest. Or amortize the principal and interest evenly each month.
Other Conditions:
Victims of natural disasters who have obtained the Disaster Victim Certificate, or have been validated
by the Bank should apply for the loan within three months from the next day of being hit by the natural disaster.
