The Bank provides services for all levels of public treasuries:
- Depositors: central government, county (municipal) governments, or township (city) governments and their subordinated agencies and schools.
- Types of deposits: expense fund deposit (for state treasury only), special fund, custody.
- Applicants: agencies for state treasury, county (municipal) treasuries, and township (city) treasuries.
Treasury Check Services:
- A treasury check should be cashed at the payment place stated on the check. If the place of payment is another county or city, the check could be cashed through collection.
- A crossed check cannot be cashed immediately, but should be paid through collection. To cash an uncrossed check paid to an individual but with non-transfer restriction, the customer needs to show his/her ID card to the Bank. The Bank has the right to stop payment if there is any inconsistency.
- The treasury check paid to a government agency should be deposited to the public treasury account of this agency.

Deposit / Withdrawal of Money Lodged at Courts
- Depositors: people that lodges a certain amount of money at court to meet the requirement of liquidation or civil action procedures.
- Interest rate: calculated based on the interest rate of demand deposits announced by the Bank.
Custody Services for Public Treasuries
- The Bank provides custody services for public treasuries, taking care of the belongings entrusted by government agencies.
- Types of custody services: sealed and unsealed.
Principal and Interest Payment of Physical Public Bonds
- Bond holders should fill in the “List of Public Bond Principal and Interest Receipt”, and turn in the bonds and coupons to receive the principal and interest of the Central Government Bond and Taiwan Provincial Government Bond.
- Place for application: 58 locations of the Public Treasury Department
Tax and Fee Collection Services
Locations: 3642 locations, including all branches of the Bank andbranches of the authorized banks.
- Collect taxes and fees of local governments.
- Collect taxes and fees of other county or city governments.
- Collect tuition and fees of public junior high schools and above.
- Refund taxes and fees.
Dispatch staff to the government agencies to help collect taxes and fees.
