Horses are often seen as free-spirited, independent adventurers, always galloping toward their goal with unbridled enthusiasm. To capture their bravery, the Perth Mint of Australia has showcased its superb craftsmanship, transforming an adorable pony into a shimmering memento!
The coin’s reverse side portrays a happy pony resting on grass adorned with dainty flowers and a dragonfly fluttering above. The words “YEAR OF THE HORSE,” the Chinese character for horse, and the letter “P” for the Perth Mint are also incorporated into the design. Crafted with an exquisite proof finish, the mirror-like luster of the coin beautifully accentuates the playful theme and the intricate craftsmanship of the design.
The coin has a diameter of 32.6 mm and a thickness of 2.9 mm. The obverse bears an effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, the Head of the British Commonwealth. The king’s name (KING CHARLES III), issuing country (TUVALU), denomination (50 CENTS), weight (1/2 oz), purity (9999Ag), and year (2026) are engraved on the outer ring. The cute and energetic pony symbolizes the vitality and hope of life, carrying blessings for a bright future.
The silver coin comes with a certificate of authenticity and a display case with a transparent lid, packaged in a colorful gift box. With a worldwide limited mintage of only 7,500 coins, the Baby Horse coin is not only a great addition to any personal collection, but also a perfect gift for loved ones, as well as newborns under the Chinese Zodiac sign of the Horse. Let this adorable pony companion fuel every leap you take and gallop towards your dream with full horsepower!
