Application Conditions for Preferential Housing Purchase Project Loans
1. Qualified Applicants | ROC citizens 20 years old or above, each applicant is limited to purchase one house. |

3. Interest Rate | Fluctuating rate based on the two-year time savings deposits rate of the Postal Savings plus 1%. (Of the aforementioned 1%, the government subsidizes 0.125% annually, and the remaining 0.875% is undertaken by the borrower. At present, the annual interest rate undertaken by the borrower is 3.1%.) |
4. Loan Period | Maximum 20 years, with 3-year grace period. |
5. Collateral | Only new houses, second hand houses and court auction houses with building ownership transfer registration completed after November 20, 2004 are accepted. In addition, characters of “residence house” should be indicated under the “Purpose” column of the Building Ownership Certificate. |
